That is just so cute! Sometime when she is older you can tell her how different life was way back when her Grammy was little. I grew up in a house that didn't even have a shower. That, combined with my fear of water made me keep my head out of the spray if I was somewhere that I could shower (think swimming pools...you used to have to shower both before and after going in the pool, even if I never got in over my waist. We went to NY when I was about 12 and stayed in a very fancy (for us) hotel suite and it had a shower stall in my assigned room. For the first time I took a full shower and decided you were able to dry off more quickly getting out of a shower than a bath. Mom and Dad thought I was nuts. To this day I keep my back to the shower head when washing my hair. Glad to know Remi will have no of my water phobias. Someday thiese little stories might be fun to share with my doll baby. And I won't embarrass her Daddy by remembering that he was afraid of falling into the toilet when he was first potty trained so he would take all his clothes off (including shoes and socks) and sit backwards, facing the tank. It worked to make him feel more secure but I got tired of having to dress him several times a day...he could undress himself but not put the clothes back on. Thankfully he only did this for about a month.
Keep that girl clean and start giving her an allowance for doing the laundry.
Love you all,

Of course she's smart and pretty...she's my grandbaby, right? I just love it that she has these conversations while being fed...is that the only time you can get her to be still enough to capture her on camera? I am missing her more and more with every photo/video you send. It breaks my heart that I can't get down there for a few days. We'll see what the next couple of months bring but I just saw a news flash that there will be no raise in social security this coming year. My supplemental insurance just told me I have reached the end of my pharmacy co-pays for the year. Medicaid will still take a little off but it's going to be a struggle.

Thank you so much for sending this. She is as intelligent as she is beautiful. A vent! I don't think either of my sons ever asked what one of those were; you probably just thought it was something Mom never seemed to clean. I have a louvered door on my little utility closet where the furnace/ac/water heater is and Daegan has begun to use it as a post office slot...started putting his little shapes for learning through the vents and has progressed to pieces of paper and anything else he can get through the slats...every now and then when I realize something is missing I know where to look!
Miss you all so much. If I am ever going to get to know my Remi it will be through videos like this so please keep them coming.
Love,

Have I mentioned how gorgeous my Texas grandbaby is? I love the very serious concentration given to her painting and then the idea that painting on Remi is more fun than being the next Picasso! She is growing so fast...looks so big sleeping all stretched out in her crib and like a big girl in her new princess chair. Anna may have been watching fireworks but Remi was watching the camera...quite the poser!
Give her a big hug and kiss for me!

I knew she could do it and would in time...guess the time has come. I'm as proud as a peacock to see her wide leg stance. It's funny how parents want their child to walk so badly and then we they do, they get into everything and the parents wish they would have crawled a little longer. I don't know if Camp remembers heariing the story, but he had casts on both legs due to his "toe in" problem...he had been standing and taking a few steps around furniture before the casts went on and then couldn't do either with the heavy casts on. He did crawl, and so much that he actually wore the casts down from friction. Castscame off at 10 months and he was walking about two weeks later. Every child is different and every child is precious...I think my pixie Remi will be running within the month! Good luck Mom and Dad. Love you all...

I was wondering how Remi was and remembered this site. I don't visit often, but I enjoyed checking out her development. Life must be busy, since it has been a few months since her parents posted new stuff. Hope all is well, love Aunt Vicki
