Remi & We

Watching Remi grow into whatever she wants to be

Remi’s Room

Finished‘ is such an subjective word.  I’m not sure how Remi’s space in the world will evolve but this what it looks like today -roughly 40 hours before Remi is even here.  I think we will ask her what she wants.  Red paint? Done.  Re-arrange the furniture? No problem.  A Camry?  Oh, geez.

i just want to point out that her walls are an ‘Apple’ green…not yellow!

The room is great; you did a fantastic job in a small amount of time. I would have never thought of apple green with brown and pink but it works. Is the wall art a stencil or a stick on or did you draw it by hand? I must say everything looks ready for the “princess”. Is that (and I don’t remember but hope I come close) the Creatures in the Woods, Selznick picture? I had a feeling earlier today that Anna had lost her mucus plug but I guess I was wrong because some cramps start realatively soon after that. I’ll try to keep my feelings to myself. Love all three of you and except for running to the grocery store tomorrow I will be home all day tomorrow and Monday working on my social security papers…they want to know details to how many moles I have on my body and where they are!’

It’s beautiful! She’ll love it! Of course, when she turns three she will decide that hot pink and a Disney princess theme would be much preferable. But until then, it’s perfect!

The art on the wall is just a sticker.  Actually, it’s about 100 separate stickers.  It was a major pain in the ass to put up.
