Mirna Diamond Mine

This impressive image is a diamond mine in Mirna, Siberia. It’s 1722 feet deep but it’s that city-swallowing girth that makes the photo so jaw dropping. The hole is 4101 feet across (about 3/4 of a mile). Check out more pictures of the hole HERE. The mine is visible on Google Maps HERE.
